Felix Diaz Pierce was born on December 16, 1912. He was the son of Lorenzo Dow Pierce and Orah Finley Pierce. Felix was an employee of the Spring Creek school before he entered the service on November 5, 1942. Felix served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on January 18, 1945 in Belgium at the age of 32 and is now buried in Hansford Cemetery, Spearman, Hansford County, Texas, USA.
