Jack Dixon Pierce was born on October 8, 1923. He was the son of Franklin Howard Pierce and Almita Mooring Pierce. Jack served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the 1st Infantry Division. He died on January 3, 1945 at the age of 21 and is now buried in Magnolia City Cemetery, Magnolia, Columbia County, Arkansas, USA.
