Glenn C. Rustad was born on December 14, 1914. He was the son of Alfred Gustav Rustad and Borghild Margaret Sorum Rustad. Glenn served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Technician Fourth Grade in the 1st Infantry Division. He died on December 21, 1944 in Belgium at the age of 30 and is now buried in Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, Fillmore County, Minnesota, USA. His name is commemorated on the First Infantry monument in Bullingen, Belgium and ranked as a Sergeant.
