Horace E. Rich was born on February 8, 1923. He was the son of Walter Scott Rich and Minnie M. Welker Rich. Horace served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on December 21, 1944 at the age of 21 and is now buried in Nocona Cemetery, Nocona, Montague County, Texas, USA.
