Anton Frederick Huber, Jr. was born on June 5, 1920 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Anton Huber and Ella Anna Kleiner Huber. Anton served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on January 15, 1945 in Belgium at the age of 24 and is now buried in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, USA.
