Walfred E. Gustafson was born on July 25, 1907. He was the son of Leonard Gustafson and Jennie L. Gustafson. Walfred served in Company A, 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division as a Technician Fifth Grade during World War II. He died on September 20, 1944 at the age of 37 during the battle for liberation of Agincourt, France and is now buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California, USA.
