Ralph Starkey was born in 1913. He resided in Queen Anne's County, Maryland prior to the war. Ralph enlisted in the Army on November 22, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was noted as being employed as a Farm Hand and also as Married. He served as a Private in Company B, 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 19, 1944 during the battle for liberation of Agincourt, France and is now buried in the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-Avold, Departement de la Moselle, Lorraine, France.
