Edward Styskal, aged 26, was born on July 8, 1918 in Butler County, Nebraska. He was the son of Leopold Styskal and Josephine Virgl Styskal. Edward served in Company I, 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division as a Sergeant during World War II. He died on September 22, 1944 during the battle for liberation of Agincourt, France and is now buried in the Saint Mary's Cemetery, David City, Butler County, Nebraska, USA.
