Joseph Paul Iaia, aged 29, was born on April 5, 1915. He was the son of Anthony Iaia and Annetta Iaia. Joseph served in Company K, 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 20, 1944 during the battle for liberation of Agincourt, France and is now buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania, USA. His headstone shows that he was with Company B of the 134th Infantry.
