Edgar G. Jennings, aged 20, was born on February 7, 1924 in Cressona, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Harry Clay Jennings and Gertrude M. Fenstermacher Jennings. Edgar was inducted in March 1943 and served in Company L, 134th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division as a Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 17, 1944 during the battle for liberation of Agincourt, France and is now buried in the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-Avold, Departement de la Moselle, Lorraine, France.
