Dale R. Anderson was born on June 30, 1920. He served in the 308th Bomb Group, 374th Bomb Squadron as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot on the B-24 #42-73329 aircraft. He died on December 24, 1943 at the age of 23 and is now buried in the Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
