Ralph T. Berg was born on December 18, 1918. He served in the 51st Fighter Group as a Captain and Pilot of an aircraft. He died on November 15, 1944 at the age of 25 and is now buried in the Florence Cemetery, Florence, Lauderdale County, Alabama, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
