Neuman A. Bodart was born on August 24, 1921. He served in the US Air Corps as a Staff Sergeant. Bodart was the radar operator aboard U.S. Army Air Corps B-29-15-BW Superfortress #42-6389 "Party Girl." He was killed in action when the bomber struck a mountainside in China while returning from a bombing mission over Mukden, Manchuria. He is now buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Green Bay, Brown County, Wisconsin, USA. Neuman was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
