William Arthur Chenoweth, aged 26, was born on November 15, 1916. He served in the US Air Corps as a Captain and Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. William died on July 29, 1943 and is now buried in the Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
