Jack Milton Glore was born on October 2, 1923. He entered the service on October 11, 1942. He served in the Air Transport Command (China-Burma-India) as a Private and Radio Operator of an aircraft during World War II. Jack died on December 25, 1944 in a non-battle incident and is now buried in the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
