Max Keith Hall was born on January 4, 1921 in Kansas. He was the son of Charles Ray Hall and Jessie L. Hall. He served in the US Air Corps as a Corporal and food dropper in an aircraft during World War II . Max died on October 29, 1943 at the age of 22 and is now buried in the Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Lincoln County, Nebraska, USA in a common grave with 1LT Lyndon O. Raff. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
