Robert C. Harris was born on December 9, 1921. He enlisted in the Air Corps on April 11, 1942 in Wayne County. Robert served in the 1st Air Cargo Squadron as a Sergeant and Kicker in an aircraft during World War II. He was Killed in Action on May 19, 1945 at the age of 23 in Burma and is now buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
