Woodsow W. Losli was born on August 16, 1919 in Oregon. He was the son of Walter J. Losli and Enis Losli. Woodson served in the 77th Squadron, 22nd Transport Group as a First Lieutenant and Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. He died on February 5, 1944 at the age of 24 and is now buried in the Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen, Grays Harbor County, Washington, USA. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
