Frank Henry Sutton was born on July 11, 1917 in Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut. He served in the 32nd Bomb Squadron, 301st Bomb Group (H) as a Technical Sergeant during World War II. He died on September 27, 1945 at the age of 28 and is now buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut, USA. Tsgt Sutton was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is also commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
