Wayne C. Watts served in the US Air Corps as a Second Lieutenant and Pilot of an aircraft during World War II. He died on January 15, 1945 in India and is now buried in the New Albany National Cemetery, New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana, USA in a common grave with his crew. 2Lt Watts was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
