Blaine Brown Weaver was born on February 2, 1923. He was the son of Jackson Woodford Weaver and Oleta Mae Frymier Weaver. He served in the US Air Corps as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. Ssgt Weaver died on May 8, 1945 at the age of 22 and is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA in a common grave with his crew. He was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China. He was a passenger of an aircraft at the time of his death.
