Mose Fobbs was born on April 22, 1896 in Crockett, Houston County, Texas. He was the son of Sterling Fobbs and Mariah Wood Fobbs. Mose served in the Prov. Detachment Labor Troops as a Private during World War I. He died of disease on August 10, 1918 at the age of 22 and is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA.
