Lionel O. Bush was born in 1902 in Scituate, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Edward Bush and Bertha Carlton Osborne Bush. He served in the US Air Corps as a Private First Class during World War II. He died on May 19, 1944 in India and is now buried in the Groveland Cemetery, Scituate, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA. He was a passenger of an aircraft at the time of his death. PFC Bush was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
