Harry K. Hill was born in May 1887 in New York. He was the son of Henderson R. Hill and Fannie C. Cook Hill. He served in the 2nd Pioneer Infantry Regiment as a Private during World War I. Harry died on December 21, 1918 in France and is now buried in the St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France. He also has a cenotaph located in East Main Street Cemetery, Newport, Orleans County, Vermont, USA.
