Harry Windsor Gray was born on September 16, 1922. He served in the US Air Corps as a Sergeant and an Engineer of an aircraft during World War II. He died on January 20, 1944 at the age of 21 and is now buried in the Richmond National Cemetery, Richmond, Henrico County, Virginia, USA. SGT Gray was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
