Daniel J. Horgan was born in 1915. He served in the US Air Corps as a Corporal during World War II. He died on May 19, 1944 and is now buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota, USA. He was a passenger of an aircraft at the time of his death. Cpl Horgan was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945. He is commemorated on the The Monument to the Aviation Martyrs in the War of Resistance Against Japan in Nanjing, China.
