Cyrus H. Kurth was born on April 1, 1918. He served in the 9th Bomber Squadron, 7th Bomber Group, Heavy as a First Lieutenant during World War II. He died on November 11, 1943 at the age of 25 and is now buried in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA. 1Lt Kurth was one of over 2000 Americans who lost their lives defending China from their Japanese invaders from 1941-1945.
