Harry J. Fergadiotis was born on February 21, 1921. He enlisted in the Army on February 6, 1942 in Pennsylvania. Harry was one of the Greek-American volunteers who served in Company C, 2671 Special Reconnaissance Battalion, an OSS operational group. This "Greek Battalion" aided the Greek armed resistance in 1944 in their fight against the occupying and then withdrawing German Army. Harry died on February 27, 1979 at the age of 58 and is now buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California, USA. His rank is Sergeant First Class on his headstone.
