Raymond E. Georges was born on November 16, 1927 in Pittsburgh; a son of Gust Georges and Frances Szymborski Georges. He was a volunteer with ties to Greece that assisted the OSS Greek Operational group in 1944 as they aided the Greek armed resistance in their fight against the occupying and then withdrawing German Army.
