Theodore J. Poulakos was born on January 31, 1925 in Wisconsin. He enlisted in the Army on March 17, 1943 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Theodore was one of the Greek-American volunteers who served in Company C, 2671 Special Reconnaissance Battalion, an OSS operational group. This "Greek Battalion" aided the Greek armed resistance in 1944 in their fight against the occupying and then withdrawing German Army. He died on June 13, 1994 at the age of 69 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is now buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia, USA.
