Alvin G. Psinas was born on November 24, 1919 in Peoria, Illinois. He enlisted in the Army on January 1, 1942 in Illinois. Alvin was a volunteer with ties to Greece that assisted the OSS Greek Operational group in 1944 as they aided the Greek armed resistance in their fight against the occupying and then withdrawing German Army. He died on March 11, 1996 at the age of 76 and is now buried in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Pekin, Tazewell County, Illinois, USA.
