Christ Skiriotis was born on January 17, 1919. He enlisted in the Army on April 2, 1946 in New Jersey. Christ was one of the Greek-American volunteers who served in Company C, 2671 Special Reconnaissance Battalion, an OSS operational group. This "Greek Battalion" aided the Greek armed resistance in 1944 in their fight against the occupying and then withdrawing German Army. He died on February 16, 1992 at the age of 73 and is now buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas, USA.
