Frank F. Folinazzo was born on October 16, 1924. He served in the 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment as a Private First Class during World War II. PFC Folinazzo was Killed in Action on February 26, 1945 at the age of 20, during the battle for the recapture of Corregidor, Philippines against the defending Japanese garrison on the island. He is now buried in the Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, Cook County, Illinois, USA. His name is commemorated on The Rock Force Memorial located at Top Side - Corregidor Island, Philippines but his surname is inscribed as Falinazzo.
