Comments:

William Theron Rogers was born on January 31, 1963. He served in the US Army Air Forces as a First Lieutenant. On May 27, 1987, together with Maj. Michael C. Naum, their F-4 Phantom jet fighter crashed near a firing range in the northern Spanish province of Navarre. They were both killed in the crash. The embassy said the aircraft was based at the U.S. Air Force base in Spangdahlem, West Germany and had been on a routine training mission when it crashed at 11:50 a.m. 37 miles south of Pamplona near Carcastillo. Spain and the United States share a joint-use air base at Zaragoza, 60 miles southeast of the crash site.
