Ralph R. Helbling was born on November 6, 1919. He served in the 168th Infantry Regiment as a Private during World War II. he died on May 5, 1942, at the age of 22, and was buried first in the Lisnabreeny Former American Military Cemetery in England. The cemetery closed in 1948 and his remains were exhumed and transferred. PVT Hebling is buried now in the Grafton National Cemetery, Grafton, Taylor County, West Virginia, USA.
