Howard Austin Hill was born on July 20, 1921, in Manchester, New Hampshire. He enlisted in the Army on August 28, 1942 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted as being employed as a Salesmen and also as Married. Howard served as a Corporal, 5th Airdrome Squadron, U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He died in the line of duty of a non-battle related incident and was buried first in the Lisnabreeny Former American Military Cemetery in England. The cemetery closed in 1948 and his remains were exhumed and transferred. CPL Hill is buried now in the Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, United Kingdom.
