Clyde Raymond Johns was born on September 8, 1908. He served in the United States Naval Reserve as an Ensign during World War II. He died on June 17, 1944, at the age of 35, and was buried first in the Lisnabreeny Former American Military Cemetery in England. The cemetery closed in 1948 and his remains were exhumed and transferred. ENS Johns is buried now in the Fort Smith National Cemetery, Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas, USA.
