Albano Lemmi was born in 1922. He served in Company A, 644th Tank Destroyer Battalion. He died in 1944 and was buried first in the Lisnabreeny Former American Military Cemetery in England. The cemetery closed in 1948 and his remains were exhumed and transferred. CPL Lemmi is buried now in the Our Lady Of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Burgettstown, Washington County, Pennsylvania, USA.
