Estel Ray McClellan was born on December 7, 1921. He served in the US Navy as a Machinist's Mate 2nd Class during World War II. He died on April 16, 1944, at the age of 22, and was buried first in the Lisnabreeny Former American Military Cemetery in England. The cemetery closed in 1948 and his remains were exhumed and transferred. MM2C McClellan is buried now in the Highland Cemetery, Bayard, Guthrie County, Iowa, USA.
