Keith Francis Prior was born on July 18, 1917 in St. Clair, Michigan. He was the son of Fred Prior and Agnes Hay Prior. He served in the 11th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division as a Private First Class during World War II. PFC Prior died on January 22, 1945 and is now buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg. He was one of the 38 American soldiers killed during the fierce fighting at sub-zero temperatures to recapture the town of Hoscheid, Luxembourg.
