Cecil Webster Wilson was born on February 15, 1918 in Sharon, Tennessee. He was the son of Hollis W. Wilson and Fannie Jane Lackey Wilson. He served in the 11th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry Division as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. SSGT Wilson died on January 25, 1945 and is now buried in the Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg. He was one of the 38 American soldiers killed during the fierce fighting at sub-zero temperatures to recapture the town of Hoscheid, Luxembourg.
