PFC Charles B. Craig was born on May 16, 1923 in Grayson County, Kentucky. He served in Company C, 301st Infantry Regiment, 94th Infantry Division during World War 2. He was killed in the Czech Republic on June 29, 1945 near Hora�ďovice. A plaque on a small roadside chapel there remembers his sacrifice.
