Bobby Charles Franklin, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia was born on July 31, 1965. He was assigned to the 210th Military Police Company, U.S. Army National Guard, Murphy North Carolina. He died on August 20, 2003 in Baghdad, Iraq of injuries sustained by an improvised explosive device. He is now buried in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery, Blue Ridge, Fannin County, Georgia.
