Ivan E. May was born on October 13, 1913. He was the son of Everett F. May and Emma P. Bohm May. He served in the 15th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. SSGT May was killed in battle in Pleudihen, France on August 5, 1944. He is now buried in the Oakland Cemetery, Princeton, Bureau County, Illinois, USA.
