Kenneth Caldwell was born on March 3, 1920 in California. He was the son of John W. Caldwell and Cora Bell McCaskill Caldwell. He was married to Helen Esther Swartling Klaasen. Kenneth served in the 377th Fighter Squadron, 362nd Fighter Group as a Captain during World War II. CPT Caldwell died when his P-47 crashed near Bad Griesbach, Germany, on May 19, 1945. He is now buried in the Lorraine American Cemetery, Saint-Avold, France.
