Henry Campbell was a 28-year-old seaman from Delaware who served aboard the merchant ship Columbia. During the War of 1812, he was captured and held as a prisoner of war at Dartmoor Prison in Princetown, England. Campbell died on March 22, 1815, with peripneumonia recorded as his cause of death. He was buried at the American Prisoner of War Cemetery in Dartmoor Forest, Devon, England.
