Peter Buckle was born in 1889, in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. He was the eldest son of William Buckle and Elizabeth Ledgerwood, of New Jersey, U.S.A. Husband of Elizabeth Buckle, of 56 Albert St., Edinburgh.
Peter served as a Driver in the 41st Battery, 42nd Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery, British Army. He died on January 3, 1919, and is now buried in the Cologne Southern Cemetery, Cologne, Stadtkreis Köln, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
