Robert B. Fraser was born on March 19, 1921, in Fullerton, Orange County, California. He served in the 334th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, as a First Lieutenant during World War II.

1Lt Fraser was killed in a flight accident on February 28, 1944, in Debden, England. While returning from a local flight in Mustang QP-N (43-6656), an eyewitness saw as Fraser was “making a turning approach into the field his plane stalled and flicked over on its back, then nosed straight in.”

1Lt Fraser is now buried in the Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, United Kingdom. His name is listed on the Anglo-American Memorial in Saffron Walden, England, but his middle initial is D.
