Lloyd Francis Henry was born on 16 June 1920 in Lafayette, Indiana. He served in the 335th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, as a Second Lieutenant during World War II.

2Lt Henry was Killed in Action on 18 April 1944. He was shot down during an engagement over the Rhine Canal, in which his section was attacked by 7 FW-190’s. His aircraft (P-51 Mustang #43-6579 'S.N.A.F.U.') crashed near Berlin, Germany.

2Lt Henry is now buried in the Linden Cemetery, Linden, Montgomery County, Indiana, USA.
