Thomas S. Sharp was born on 7 June 1920 in McArthur, Ohio. He served in the 334th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, as a First Lieutenant during World War II.

1Lt Sharp was Killed in Action on 2 July 1944, piloting the P-51 Mustang #42-106650. He was last seen while the group was climbing to meet 50-75 inbound German fighters over Budapest. Could not get tanks to drop, was ordered to return to base. He was not heard from again.

1Lt Sharp is now buried in the Elk Cemetery, McArthur, Vinton County, Ohio, USA.
